Testing my Favorite Use Cases on Grok Bot
844 segments
In this video, I'm going to walk you
through eight of the best use cases for
the brand new Grokbot. Grokbot is
literally the easiest to use AI agent
platform that lets you create open claw
and Hermes like agents in one click. It
can see what you're working on, has
access to its very own desktop, and can
even take actions inside the tools you
use every day. So, we're going to break
everything down and cover use cases that
range from giving you a morning briefing
to building trading bots, prospecting
agents, creating and publishing content
and websites to even teaching Grokbot
the clicks you make on your computer so
we can remember how you work and then
even run it automatically without you
having to do it ever again. And the
cherry on top is you can even kick off a
job from your computer and then finish
it from your phone. This is quite
literally changing how we do real office
work, especially the stuff that eats
your Tuesday afternoon. So, let's dive
in.
So, first, I actually want to cover why
this is useful and who it's really for.
All right? Because there's a few little
things if you understand initially,
it'll make using the software way
easier. All right? So, first of all, you
can see
this is basically a very easy-to-use AI
teammate with its own cloud computer.
And that is super important and I'll
tell you why as we keep going. But, why
it becomes so easy to use is because it
has one-click connections to your Slack,
email, GitHub, etc. So, if I open up my
Grokbot, you can see right here if I hit
plugins, you can just one-click add any
app you want. All right? And I'll show
you some hacks on what we have to do for
there. But, the cool part about this is
it literally stays signed in into your
applications, and if it needs things
about logins, etc., it will only ping
you then. And, you know, as you keep
using it, it will learn from your
workflows and your voice and then will
do that over time. So, this is one of
the developers of Grokbot and he has
given us a lot of different tips. We'll
go over this in a bit. But, right now,
what I want to tell you is the way this
whole application is architected is that
you need to make lots of bots. So, one
bot per responsibility. So, if I go back
to my GrokBot, you'll see how I have one
bot that uploads things to YouTube, one
that's the chief of staff, so it can
control other agents, which is kind of
cool. One of them does research, one of
them just makes carousels, etc. But,
what makes this really cool is that Grok
is one model that can actually already
make images and videos, and it's super
fast, and that's what it's built on,
right? So, it's built essentially for
creators, or founders, or people with
small teams who don't want to have the
hassle of actually learning Hermes
agents, or Open Claw, or what a VPS is,
and just want their work done, right?
So, this is built for specifically them.
And that's why they actually built in a
computer for your GrokBot. So, for
example, this is one of my agents, and
right here, on the right-hand side, if I
just hit open, you can see this is the
agent's computer. So, you can open up
Google Chrome right here,
uh and then you can log in to whatever
application you need, whether it'd be
like something like Instagram, um etc.
Anything you need is right there. So, it
has its own computer, and
you can also teach it a task by
recording your computer and logging in,
okay? So, I'll cover that in a bit, but
right now, I just wanted you to
understand who this is for, and why
GrokBot was made in the first place.
So, the first things first, if you want
to set it up and try this, this is where
you want to get it. You go to x.ai/bot,
and then you can try it for free. But,
if you're using this a lot, this is what
happens, okay? And I'll show you a quick
little hack. So, the first tier for
Cursor Ultra is $200 a month, which is a
lot. But, if you don't want to use it
that way, what you can do is right here,
you can get Super Grok and you can see
Super Grok starts from $30 a month and
you can get it a lot cheaper and then
scale up as you need. All right? So you
can get whatever you need and you can
use this subscription to actually get
Grok Bot included.
I don't know why their pricing is
incredibly confusing, but I just wanted
to make sure that if you guys are using
this and getting some value out of it,
there is an easier way where you can get
Super Grok and you get access to Grok
Bot and actually like in your X account,
you can get access to
uh
you can get access to like the blue
check mark all with one subscription,
okay? So make sure you use that, but the
first thing you want to do is make sure
you can try it out for free
but download this for Mac OS X or
whatever you need to, all right? Okay.
So after you download it, it'll just
make you make your first bot and that is
super simple. So after you get in,
you're going to see a blank screen like
this and that's all you need to start
getting into use case number one.
So for use case number one, what I want
to show you and it's really important to
understand is how these plugins work. So
if I hit plugins right now, it's very
easy to add a new plugin. So if I just
hit add right here to my Gmail, it gets
added. Then you have to go to yours and
then hit authenticate and then you have
to make sure that you select
your Gmail account and then you can
actually use that, all right? Because
I've seen a lot of people just get
tripped up by hitting this and then
don't know where to go. Okay. The second
thing, this one is the hack which is
very important, is
yes, there is a lot of applications
here, but it may not have all the
applications that you use, all right? So
for example, let's say I want to connect
to my YouTube and get my data every day
and seeing which of my shorts or videos
are performing in a good way, right? But
the thing is, there is no YouTube
connector, right? So, what I do is use
this thing called Composio. And if you
look up Composio, Composio is actually
free. I don't know how it's free, but
here, in Composio, if you sign up for
Composio and then hit connect apps, you
can see they have a lot more
applications that you can connect to.
So, right here, you just all you have to
do is just connect YouTube right here.
And then, okay. Then what I can do is
let's say I go to this bot, or let me
actually make a new bot. Let's say
YouTube test. And that's how you first
you want to make a new bot. And it say,
"Can you give me stats for my YouTube
video?" And hit enter. See, now it can
say YouTube's already linked, pulling
your video stats. But it didn't have the
YouTube app, it's pulling through
Composio. So, that's one hack I wanted
to show you so you don't get flustered
by
if there's not as many applications
there. Okay. And you can see, right
here,
it has my channel stats. It knows I have
4.9 million views, this many videos, and
these are my top best performing videos.
Okay? So, now we can pull my YouTube
stats really easily. Okay, this is
really cool. Now, what I will want to do
is show you how to actually put this in
practice. So, let me show you how we can
build a morning briefing so we can get
that every morning. It would be a live
briefing based on everything it sees in
a bunch of our applications, right?
Next one I'm going to show you is for
the morning briefing. Let's say we need
a couple different things, right? So,
let's create a new agent, and let's call
him actually let's call him chief of
staff. Okay. So, I'm just going to be
calling this chief of staff. And one
small thing is if it's like starting up
or working, it's going to be a little
animated. But now I can you can actually
make other
bots right from this chat. So, you can
see something like, "Hey,
uh I want you to create another agent
for giving me morning briefings.
Ideally, what I want is you to read my
email and then for each email, just give
it a grade from A to F in terms of
importance.
And also, I want you to connect to my
Slack. I don't have it connected yet.
So, connect to my Slack here
and uh I want you to also tell me what
my teammates are asking for. Okay? Oh,
one more other thing is I want you to
every day
send this to me at, let's say, 8:00 a.m.
And also,
every day search if there is new AI
releases that I should be making YouTube
videos on or I should be covering, all
right? Awesome. So, you can see you can
do that, by the way. If you wanted to
use voice, they have this right here as
well. Um and a cool little thing I also
want to show you, if you actually go to
the Grokbot application, uh let me
record my screen. So, you you will see,
basically, it's essentially synced one
to one. And I actually really love that
it's synced one to one because now, if,
let's say, even from my
phone right here, I can authorize. You
can see I can authorize it here
and I can connect to my Slack account.
I'll probably hide this. Okay. You see?
Now, it's authorized to my Slack
account. Okay. So, we added Slack. Now,
it says tap Slack to connect this. Cool.
This is done. And right here, you can
see there's a morning briefing agent,
all right? So, if I click this morning
briefing agent, you can see weekday
mornings is set and it's going to do all
of this stuff. I'm going to show you
something
you should know as well.
So, this right here, when I click the
settings on the top right, you can see
there's a routine that got created,
right? And a routine is just one task
that just happens over over over and
over in a time basis. So, if I click it,
you can see it literally will
it has made a prompt for what it wants
to do and then it should give me one.
So, let's test a to
Hey, can you Can you give me a morning
briefing for today? Okay, I'll let it
work in the background. And what I
really love about Grok is how fast it
is, right? It's not as slow as the other
models, and that's why I really enjoy
using it. But, one thing I want to show
you about the routines is right here.
You can also there's a when to run,
right?
And this is on a time schedule, but you
can always add other schedules where
let's say someone sends you a Slack
message, you can kick off a task with
Grokbot, if there's a ticket created or
a bunch of other things. So, this thing
I think is still being worked on as we
go, but I think Slack messages messages
as a trigger is pretty cool. So, if I
let's say
find cool things.
Let's say if I find a cool reel and I
share it to my Slack, I can get an agent
to essentially take that and then make
it like how I would like it, right? So,
those are some cool event-based triggers
as well, but right now let's only use
the time-based triggers because it's so
easy to do. So, let me finish.
Let me see how this works. Okay. So, so
I may cover some of the stuff up, but
you can see right here.
You can see right here some email
I'm buying a bunch of st-
stuff and it's pointing things at fraud
as what I need to be paying attention
to. I gave my accountant some access and
it's giving me a bunch of things that
may that I may need to be
that I need may need to respond to. And
even in from my Slack, it's telling me
like, "Hey, my
my teammate is going to be out for a
couple days." It's kind of cool. I love
that I have one place that I can
actually ask and get things done really
quickly. It's as easy as that to make
the morning briefing, and you're going
to be getting a text on your phone every
weekday at 8:00 a.m. from Grokbot. And
And if you wanted even an email or
something like that, you could just be
like, "Hey, can you also send me an
email so every morning send me a text
and an email digest as well. So, if you
like checking your email, you can do
that. And anything else, if you want to
connect it to other apps, it's really
simple and you want to massage this to
the way you want it by just talking to
it, right? It's that easy to make a
morning briefing and you don't have to
mess with any other little things. And
if you actually wanted to respond to
these emails, because Rockbot has access
to your email, you could just speak to
it like, "Hey, tell this person this,
etc." and send it out. It should be able
to do it just like that.
Okay, so the next thing I want to show
you is making sure you actually have a
way to track what your AIs are doing
over time, right? And the way we do that
is we build an AI project manager. So,
what I like using is this thing called
ClickUp. So, I'm going to ask it to
authorize with ClickUp really quickly.
Hey, I want you to authorize me with
ClickUp and then set up a new space
where I want to see where the agents are
working on so I can track all the tasks
that I'm giving you, okay? Essentially,
I want to
have another channel.
Uh make another bot and this bot
shouldn't really respond to me. Uh
this is where I may find some random
inspiration and all this stuff. I just
want to dump it in there so I have a
capture channel so I can dump all my
thoughts there or find things that I may
find cool. And then if I ask you about
it, I want you to save it somewhere,
maybe in ClickUp, and have inspiration.
But right now, authorize me with
ClickUp, create a new space, and then
show me the board of things that you've
done. I want to see some tasks actually
organized. Okay, and you see it's just
as easy as talking to this. I love how
easy this is. So, you can see it's
authorizing with my ClickUp. And ClickUp
also, you can sign up for free. There's
a easy way to do it and this is the task
manager of my choice that I like using.
So, I highly recommend you try it out as
well. So, you just have to connect your
workspace and then I'll show you what
it's like. Normally, nobody like people
no person actually likes moving around
tasks in a board, right? So, I want to
get my agents to do it. For example,
before GrokBot was a thing, you see this
is how I manage what my agents are
doing. So, there is a task board like
this and you can see there's a bunch of
different things. I can see what my
agents are doing. I never manage this
thing, my agents do, but if I need to
actually dive in and see what the agents
have done, I can see it. And then all
the projects that I'm doing with my
agents are all neatly tucked away. So,
this thing is called Multica, but I have
now switched over to ClickUp because the
MCP is so much easier to use and the
reason I use ClickUp it's right here.
They actually have this, you know, it's
one place where I can keep all my docs.
It has their own agents. It has these
really cool whiteboards I can be using
and all of this
I can use as my AI agents. So, it's all
my Slack. So, we've actually started
using the chats inside here where we
talk with our teams. All the tasks are
inside. It works as Loom. So, that's why
I've been using it. It's free and uh
highly recommend you try it out, but let
me see. Agent workboard, it did all the
stuff. So, let me see what it did. If I
open this up. Okay, cool. So, you can
see for Agent Ops there's Agent Work and
right here if I click this board button
Ah, there we go.
>> [laughter]
>> You see this is so cool. So, it did the
morning briefing agent for me. It
connected Slack. All this stuff is there
and now I will know what my agent is
doing at all times and I can always go
in back and forth and chat with my
agents from here as well. That means all
my context is preserved in one place.
And right here if I go to docs for
example, whenever we have a sync with
our team, so what I want my agent to do
is write out some of the meeting notes
or takeaways. So, let's say I have a
meeting with my team. I just want them
to make a new sync doc and when I have
the ClickUp MCP with GrokBot enabled and
it let's say it's connected with my with
my meeting providers like I use granola,
it can now get all my meetings and put
it all in one place. So, it's as easy as
that to create these kind of AI project
manager. Now, whenever I ask it to do
something, I have access to seeing and
logging everything that my agent does,
so it doesn't get lost in an array of
like random chats. And I highly
recommend you guys set this up because
this is so useful when you're working
with agents over time and so you don't
lose track of what you're doing because
once your team is also working with
something like this, you can also ask,
"Hey, what is this person working on and
what's their status?" And my agent's
going to go talk to their agents and
it's all logged inside one place.
Great. So, now let's actually get into
some of the juicy use cases. And this is
what I want to show you. So, first,
actually because this is my chief of
staff, I'm just going to drag and pin
this here because it's easy to access
him. But, what I'm going to say
is, "Hey, can you make another web
design agent?"
So, what we're going to be doing right
now is I'm going to be showing you how
to make really, really cool
motion graphic websites, something like
this where, you know, you're scrolling
and then there's like really cool
animations everywhere, etc. And we're
going to see if GrokBot can one-shot
that, okay?
So, to do that, I'm going to go back to
GrokBot and I'm going to go to this web
designer and what you want to do is make
sure you need to generate AI videos and
images to be able to do this, right? So,
what you want to do is search up
Higgsfield and make sure you add
Higgsfield, okay?
You just want to make sure. It's really
simple. All you want to do is make sure
you have a Higgsfield account and
honestly, that's about it. Um
then you hit and you do the same
authorized steps and it'll let you do
that. And I already authorized mine
because this takes a while and I've been
testing it for you guys initially, but
now uh what I want to show you is
there's this skill, okay? And it's
called Scroll World that lets you create
really cool website, okay? So, I'm going
to paste this here and this is going to
demonstrate if Grogbot can actually use
skills like this. So, I'm going to say,
"Hey, using the skill, I want you to
loop and really quality check." What I
want you to do is create a website using
the skill and deploy it. What I want it
to be about is Grogbot and its features
and how I'm teaching it all inside my
Claude Club. And I'm going to add uh
school.com/claude
so it has some references. Claude. Okay.
Cool. So, I'll let this work and I'll
come back once this is done. But, right
now, just with this, it should be able
to make me a really cool website. Okay,
so just so you're aware, it asked me a
bunch of questions, so I just answered
those questions. But, now, this is
something cool I want to show you.
Because we made this the chief of staff,
right now, if I click on this and it was
like a little blue icon and you can see
Haha, this is cool, right? Web designer
says the Grogbot as Claude Club Scroll
site is done. So, you can see they made
a live website link and they also made a
ClickUp link. So, if I hit the ClickUp
link, you can see this task is done. If
I open this as well inside the board, so
you can see right here build Grogbot at
Scroll World landing page is right here
and all the details are right here,
okay? This is how you actually track
everything you build and any changes,
but let's check this site out.
Oh, this is cool. Okay, now it should be
moving when I scroll around. So, let's
test that. A teammate, not a prompt box.
Grogbot gives you named agents that hand
real work to they finished. Okay, this
is pretty good copy. I like it. Oh, this
is cool. So, you can see these things
are like smoothly like going forward.
There's some nice copy that comes up on
the side. It has a computer of its own
and all this stuff.
Wow.
See, it makes it super interactive. I'm
really liking it. And it wrote all of
this, it did the research, etc.
Everything. It works inside your real
tools, all these things. It learns by
the job, by watching it once, and it
even put all the little use cases that
we've been covering. And at the end,
this is cool. It says join the club. So,
this is my club club where I'm teaching
people how to do all of this stuff. If
you need help. Oh, actually, maybe I
should show you this. So, right here,
uh when I made this, I shared the skill
with my community and they're actually
they've made it some for themselves as
well and you can see these kind of
sites. So, it's a very easy way to be
doing this kind of stuff and I love that
the chief of staff agent tells me when
it's actually done, right? This is a
crazy use case and whenever you need to
actually make content or AI video or
images, highly recommend you try out
this Higgs Field MCP because it equips
your Grok bot with so many more
capabilities that it really gets access
to and it gets access to all the models
in terms of creative. But, also, Grok
has its own image and video model called
Grok Imagine. It's really good, but I
would say the quality is hit or miss. I
like both, but highly recommend that you
use these skills for any design work and
with that, let me show you the next use
case where you can take your videos and
make them much higher quality.
All right. So, you've been watching this
video and there's been some title cards
and transitions, right? Where they're
are showing you use case one, two, and
three. And this is how I built it. It's
actually really cool. So, you can see
right here
all I did is I went to a Grok and I made
a new motion designer agent and I said,
"Hey, what I want you to do is create a
set of eight motion graphics, like use
case 1 2 3 up to 8, and make each an MP4
file for each use case 1 to 8." And
then, you know, it went out and used the
same skills that I gave it, and it used
Remotion, so in plugins, if you can see,
there's Remotion. All you honestly just
have to do is hit add.
Then, it went out and then built all
these stuff for me. Now,
I give it a try.
It's so cool.
See, so I have all these cards right
now. I may make some tweaks a bit more
when I put it in the video because I
like a little different, but I This is
like a really cool way you can actually
use stuff like Hexfield and Remotion
with Grok to make any motion graphics
for your videos, right? And we'll level
this up and I'll show you how we can
actually take it to the next step and
build content for this as well.
Okay, so for the next use case, since we
have the content skills, I want to show
you how to make carousels. And one word
of caution, so this is me when I just
logged in,
I said, "Hey, can you make me a carousel
about Grok Bot and its eight use cases?
I want the images."
And it gave me really bad ones. I don't
like this, right? So, what you want to
do is make sure you either equip it with
skills or this is the other hack.
So, first, what you want to do is you
want to go to plugins and then also
install Firecrawl, all right?
>> [snorts]
>> So, Firecrawl, because Firecrawl is
basically a live data scraper, and what
it helps us do is scrape other people's
stuff,
and it bypasses any bot protection,
right? So, So,
our agent is using this computer, for
example, sometimes it may get blocked.
Firecrawl will help it bypass that,
okay? So, after I install Firecrawl, I
gave it this Instagram. This is from one
of my friends. And I said, "Do it in
that style." And you can see, now it can
do and make these images in that style,
right? And then I said, "Hey, can you
make the mascot look more like the Grok
logo?" And it did it. You see? And then
if I just gave it skills, it can make
these kind of
carousels so much easier. And then I
even gave it a skill. And I'm like,
"Hey, make this." So, let me show you
that. You can see, these are right here,
and it's kind of cool. Actually, let me
show you uh if I open up the computer,
maybe this is a good time to learn. It's
right here. This computer, the second
thing, is a file manager, okay? So, if I
go to what should I go to? Let's say go
to this one, and then let's go to the
slides V2. Uh it's not done yet. Sorry,
wrong one. Okay. So,
and then let's go to the slides. And
then in slides, let's open up slide one.
And you can see, this looks pretty cool.
Right?
This is a nice-looking carousel, and
it's about Grok Bot. Your AI lives on
the desk. Grok Bot is a desktop
assistant. See? I love the style because
honestly, I've been posting this style
all the time. It's wired into your
stack. I love this graphic. You can see
it's uh Slack, Gmail, ClickUp, all we
were talking about, all in there. And if
you wanted to, you can also, let's say
you wanted to always have be in a folder
or do something in the computer, you can
always hit
it teach this task, and right here in
this computer, you can open up your
Chrome and do whatever you do on a
regular computer or a site, and what
it'll do is it'll learn from it, and it
will essentially make it into a skill
that you don't have to do over and over,
okay? Essentially, what I wanted to show
you right there is how easy it is after
you have the right skills enabled, all
the different things you can do. Like
build these kind of carousels. And now,
this is something cool as well. Now,
with this Now, let's say we like this
carousel, right? If we like this
carousel, and let's say we wanted to
post every day automatically. So, what
we can do right here is this is why I
made you set up the stuff in the
beginning is right here, we can look for
Instagram,
or TikTok, or whatever,
and you can add your account, and then I
can say something here
like
Hey, can you post this on Instagram
using my Compozio, right? And then it
should be posting it as well. And what
you can do is you can even ask it to
create a routine where it does the
research, and then it makes the
carousels, and then posts them
automatically. And you can have a
content flywheel that operates without
you in its own computer, and you should
always be able to see all the different
carousels and different things in here,
as well. Actually, there's something
else that I want to show you right here.
Okay. So, in my phone
So, you know how we were using the
computer? Right here, if I click this,
this is so cool.
You can actually right here see I am
using the computer on my phone, and I
can use my thumb to essentially go
around and use my computer from my
phone. And this is one of the coolest
things and features I've ever seen,
where now I have a computer at my
fingertips to use from my phone, and
it's the same thing here and here. So,
with that being said, let's get move on
to a more powerful use case, since you
know all the different features of this
device.
Okay, the next thing I want to show you
is how I actually built out a trading
bot with Grok Bot, right? And you can
see right here, it's giving me some
updates. Hey,
it's connected to this thing called
Alpaca.
And with Alpaca, you can see it's
watching, doing no trades, etc. And it
even made me a little dashboard that if
I click, you can see it has overall a
45% return right now. I can see what's
going on, what it's doing, what it's
trading. I guess it's making a lot of
money on this thing called A Lab. I
haven't been touching this, but it's
really cool to see what it's been doing,
right? And how I kind of had that set up
is really cool. So, you can see there's
a weekly morning check-in, but it's
super simple to set up because all you
have to do is one, connect it to
Composer, and number two, what you want
to do is connect it with Alpaca. So, I
have a different account connected right
here, but after you connect your Alpaca,
or if you really want to get fancy,
what you can do is right here, because
this has a terminal, you can install the
Alpaca CLI, right? So, let me show you
how to do that. So, you can just right
here ask it, "Hey, can you install the
Alpaca CLI and help me do
authentication?" Because our Grok Bot
has its own computer, using this
terminal, we don't have to do use it.
Grok Bot will essentially download the
entire application and the have the
ability to control our Alpaca account,
right? So, if I go back, you can see you
can do OAuth, you can do API keys, or
anything you want. And if you want to do
OAuth, it just helps you go through this
one by one, and then you can
authenticate with your account.
See, it's right here. So, you can
authenticate right here
and use any application and make it
trade on your behalf. Alpaca, I use it
because you can actually use paper
trading, and you don't have to risk
anything if you're experimenting with
AI. This is a very easy way you can
build a trader bot that you can also
always control from your phone and that
makes it so easy where if something goes
on, you want to do research on
something, it has its own computer and
it's always giving you updates and
building dashboards based on what's
actually happening. But, you know, this
is just scratching the surface.
Yes, Grok Bot is pretty cool, but it's
brand new and there's still a lot of
bugs with it and then there's not as
much flexibility in in terms of using a
stronger model or getting it to do
whatever you want, especially with your
computer. Yes, it can control your
computer to a certain extent, like maybe
I'll show you this right here, where I
gave it permissions and it can actually
take screenshots of what I'm doing
inside my computer and control my
computer with its terminal. However,
it's not the strongest because Grok is a
good model, but it's not the best model.
So, what I've been doing is using Hermes
agent a lot and that has actually been
getting me a lot of work done faster.
And if you want to dive into that, watch
this video right here. Highly recommend.
You can check it out. And if you did
want to dive deeper into any of this
stuff, click the link below. I'll be
inside Cloud Club. Really appreciate the
support when you guys join. But with
that, if you guys need any help, we're
always dropping and covering this stuff
here first.
But watch this video. I'm sure you'll
love it. And a quick gift for anyone
that's stuck until to the end. I love
you guys. There's actually an open
source repo called Open Mouse Bot. And
what you can do with this is everyone's
been really loving the fact that, you
know, Grok Bot has something like an
open source system. It has these
computers. You can make these agents
really easily and plug it into your
computer, right? So, what somebody did,
I think his name is Millind, is they
essentially paired up this box computer.
Now, you can use your Codex or Claude
Code subscriptions
like how we're using Grockit Build, and
this is really insane. It also
gets its own computer right here,
and you can use it the same way I've
been showing how you can use Grockit
Build, right? So,
it's so cool because Com- Posio is
connected in in one go,
and I think it's a really well-made app.
Highly recommend you go try it out. All
you can have to do is go here, and then
hit download, and then you can do it and
start using your Claude Code or Codex
app for this. But, but with that, hope
you guys like that. I'll see you next
time.
