Navy Commander SOUNDS ALARM as Trump ERASES WAR HEROES
252 segments
Black American soldiers have
participated in every [clears throat]
war in American history since the
Revolution. And since the Revolution,
they saw their roles, their
responsibilities
uh diminished. And so by World War II,
you had a concerted effort to keep them
um in out of positions that that
mattered and with few exceptions. And so
that the army mirrored the southern
United States. The southern United
States had codified in the law uh called
laws called Jim Crow segregation and the
army mirrored that.
>> That's William the mystery man for me.
Everybody in the south is angry
about the situation now that they put a
p the paddles away because they're
humans as well. They came in the hoses.
They slapping with with the white girls
and they came home and they have to sit
in the in in the back of of the bus
again.
>> The people in in in Limmer area in the
Netherlands, they didn't expect it at
all. uh they well they know about what
is happening in the states with with
their putting people out of the the
history and out of the websites in
Arlington and in the Ministry of Defense
etc. But never we thought that that
could be also happening here in the in
the Netherlands. Uh and that's uh that's
why everybody is very disappointed and
and sad about that.
>> Hello Bobby Jones here for Minest Touch

What does it mean to be an American?
I asked this question knowing that there
are people internationally abroad that
are watching this video as well as those
within the United States. But I want to
start there. What does it mean to be
American? And most importantly, who gets
to determine that?
Is being American just, hey, someone who
was born in the United States has
citizenship, someone who applied for
citizenship and was granted it. Uh, or
does it mean that you subscribe to a
certain culture, a certain religion, a c
a c certain aesthetic?
Um, or does it mean you have a certain
amount of money, disposable income, all
of these things?
Well, I don't know if there's a perfect
answer to that. I have my thoughts and
I'll get into it a little bit here on
this video, but I can tell you what the
current Trump administration believes.
They believe the most primary purpose,
the most primary driver of being an
American citizen is race. It's race.
When you look at the actions that have
happened over the first year of his
administration
to include, you know, the the ICE raids,
you know, the deportation of those who
were even here legally and now the push
to try to strip naturalization of
citizens, etc. It is obvious that he is
targeting non-whites,
non-whites. [snorts] Um and the evidence
for this president, this prejuditial
belief have been laid before us in his
first administration when he called, you
know, basically African countries and
Caribbean countries hole countries
to [clears throat] going out of his way
to make it difficult for them to even
visit whether they come from Latin
America, Central America, Africa, parts
of Asia, you name it. to the reversal of
welcoming white South Africaners with
open arms. And when I mean open arms,
I'm not literally talking about the red
carpet that was literally rolled out,
but I'm also referring to the nice
economic package and the starter kit
that they got when they got here, even
though they weren't truly oppressed. And
every external news outlet that
investigated this found the claims that
these South Africaners were making
false.
So why is it that this man is wired this
way? We can go down a long list, but you
cannot deny the aggressiveness of which
he defines
worthy Americans and those who just
happen to be here and how do we get rid
of them? His policies have been systemic
in trying to degrade and remove programs
that disproportionately in his mind his
mind affect African-Americans, you know,
Latino Americans and other minority
groups. You know, the reduction of
professional degrees that he did within
the United States where all of a sudden
these degrees that were harder to obtain
that required masters in many cases have
been devalued, meaning less earning
potential. Take a wild guess which
demographic disproportionately have
those degrees. I'll tell you right now,
black women in America. Black women in
America. Um, when you look at the
destruction of the Department of of
Education and how basically the programs
they have to help primary school, high
school education, and then rolling into
applying for governmentfriendly loans to
go to college, who do they
disproportionately affect?
African-Americans. I can do this all
day. But it seemed like each month there
was a new thing that this administration
did to really just downgrade the
socialing the social position of
African-Americans and other minorities
and women in America.
Why am I saying all this? Because I want
to give a backdrop of what I think is
just unforgivable. So remember when he
came into office, he had his defense
secretary Pete Hegsith basically wipe
out all the history, you know, in the
United States military that could be
attributed to minorities and women, you
know, black Americans, Japanese
Americans, Latino Americans. They just
with a wide AI brush tried to wipe it
all out. And the outrage was so bad to
include those in the Republican party
that they had to go and backtrack. But
make no mistake, they showed us what the
intention was. They wanted to create a
myth that America is great solely
because of white men. Period. Full stop.
So, how does that affect what's going on
today? The American cemetery at
Marottson in the Netherlands has about
8,300 graves. Many of them are
Africanamean. Their contributions was
seen as such a big deal that they wanted
their contributions highlighted
at the cemetery specifically from
African-Ameans.
They formed a local associ association
which you saw in the opening clip that
highlighted and pres and wants to
preserve their contributions because
they recognized not only did they did a
difficult thing by basically winning a
war, but they did it in completely
unnecessary and bigoted circumstances
that the United States military
implemented.
However, the fact that that is being
mentioned and brought up has been seen
as quote woke by the current
administration. And this is where I have
a problem because not telling the whole
story is not being historically
accurate. Everything that every soldier,
regardless of their background, went
through in World War II, should be
recognized. But you better damn well
believe if you were sitting there
fighting for freedoms that you yourself
did not enjoy, it should move to the
front of the line story-wise. The
Europeans understand that. Pretty much
everybody but the current administration
understands that. Even those that really
don't like black people could not deny
the sacrifices that the African-American
community made in World War II in spite
of. Cuz to be completely honest and
blunt, you can look at this from D-Day
to uh the push towards Berlin to the
freaking island hopping campaign in the
Pacific. You don't win the war without
African-Americans. Period. Full stop.
And I know Trump has a hard time dealing
with that, but I'm sick of sugar coating
this stuff. You don't have America
without African-Americans. from the
roads that were built to the buildings
that were built to the freaking produce
that was planted by slaves to everything
to the culture. Heck, the word woke
that's black America and they have of
course hijacked it. I can do this all
day. When you think about things that
are quintessentially American cowboys,
use that as an example. Do you think
cowboys, the first cowboys were white?
Cowboys happened after the Civil War and
they slept in the field with the animals
that they had to protect and move. Do
you really think that was white people
right after the end of the Civil War?
No. The first cowboys were blacks and
Mexicans. But because of the
whitewashing and the propaganda over
decades, people actually believe that
they were white. No. No. From cowboys to
rock and roll to hiphop to food,
Africanameans defined American culture.
while building America simultaneously.
And when America needed people the most
to literally put their lives on the
line, it was the African-Amean who was
first to die in Christmas Addicts. It
was the African-Amean that volunteered
overwhelmingly to serve. And it was the
African-Amean that when they served at
the end of World War I and came back
home were hung and lynched in their damn
uniforms.
And despite all of that, the highest
propensity to serve in America's armed
forces today is still the
AfricanAmerican male. So for this man,
for his secretary of defense, for the
policies that they have created to go
out of their way to once again, not just
remove, but to strip honor
from those who had the guts to go serve
even though they couldn't get a damn
sandwich in the front of a store at the
same time is blasphemous
and I dare say unamerican.

Black American soldiers have historically faced diminished roles and segregation despite their crucial participation in every U.S. war. The speaker argues that the Trump administration explicitly targeted non-whites with policies and attempted to erase minority contributions from military history, exemplified by actions like devaluing professional degrees held by Black women and downplaying African American sacrifices in World War II. The video emphasizes that African Americans are fundamental to America's existence, culture, and military success, criticizing attempts to whitewash this history as "un-American."
