Is College Useless Now? 🤔🎓

You don't need the four-year degree.
There are an infinite number of courses
that are the equivalent of a four-year
college degree in three months now with
AI. I know so many young people right
now that are paying $2,000, $3,000 for
this AI course or that AI course. Or a
lot of them are doing just free ones.
And they're doing it for the certs,
they're doing it for the actual
knowledge. In two to three years, all
that's going to matter is what you're
capable of doing. A four-year degree,
for the most part, the way that we used
to look at them as being, "Okay, you
finish something." I am going to look at
a four-year degree as you are lazy. You
have absolutely no ambition, and I don't
think I can even trust you to do a job
because you've learned nothing in four
years. I mean, do you even understand
that university education is not capable
of teaching you anything that you need
to know going forward? AI is changing
things so quickly that courses right now
will become completely irrelevant in
nine months. So, like, you have to be
part of this AI world, or you're left
behind. And the money spending on
college, a four-year degree, unless you
just have parents that are just going to
throw a couple hundred thousand dollars
your way, is insane.

The speaker argues that traditional four-year college degrees are becoming obsolete and potentially viewed as a sign of lack of ambition. Instead, they advocate for leveraging rapid AI-driven learning, which offers equivalent knowledge in a fraction of the time, emphasizing that future professional value will rely solely on practical skills and capability.
