I can't believe it was this simple

All right, so how did I do it though?
Well, the routing rule is actually
pretty simple. We have Grokbot, whatever
bot you specify,
you name it. Then, you give it
instructions to operate strictly out of
either Codex or Claude out of the CLI.
And then, it provides a receipt so that
your bot can continue doing the work
specified, right? All right, today I'm
going to show you how to set up Claude
and Codex in the CLI so that your bots
within Grokbot can utilize either
harness. So, without further ado, let's
build. All right, so as you can see here
on the screen, I have Grokbot open. I do
have two pinned executive assistants.
One is technically my chief of staff,
the other is my executive assistant for
Clear Mud, but I do have these two
chiefs here called Claude and Codex.
Now, I want to show you some work that I
started handing off. They're working
real time as we speak and record this.
Uh Elon Musk did
send off We're We're building an N8N
clone right now, so that's not ready.
Sky is building a fresh
YouTube script pipeline uh front end for
me. We're actually building an Electron
macOS app. So, as you can see here
though, right, with my executive
assistant, you can see the messages that
they're having with Claude and
alternatively with Codex.
Now, it looks like Claude is still doing
work, whereas Codex is actually chatting
back and forth. Um Claude is more of my
researcher {slash} front end {slash}
wireframe. Codex is who I'm going to
rely on for most of the code base uh
heavy work. And then, of course, you
know, I'm still testing Grok 4.6. We
also built this out. Now, this has
nothing to do with the Claude or Codex
harnesses that we built. This is all
Grok 4.6 or 4.6.

>> It's pretty amazing. So, nevertheless,
that's not what you came here for. What
you came here for is this. All right, so
how did I do it though? Well, the
routing rule is actually pretty simple.
We have Grokbot, whatever bot you
specify,
you name it.
Then, you give it instructions to
operate strictly out of either Codex or
Claude out of the CLI.
And then, it provides a receipt so that
your bot can continue doing the work
specified, right? How you do it if you
want to do it manually, you just name
the new bot Claude, you paste the prompt
below right here. Feel free to
screenshot your screen.
And you can install it manually, right?
Or you can just follow this prompt as
well. This will set instructions for
your bot.
Same goes for Codex, right? I'm not
going to walk through this line for
line, but what I am going to show you
here
is uh what you can see here, this is a
master prompt. Just screenshot this
point in the video and feed it to your
chief of staff or your executive
assistant within Grokbot. Alternatively,
if you want to copy-paste a master
prompt, go to clearmud.ai/resources,
you'll find it in our Grokbot category
within resources. So, and yeah, that was
meant to be short and sweet. That's how
I have Codex and Claude in the CLI
working via Grokbot. It's a cool little
workaround. I just want to shout out one
of our OGs, Derek in the community, for
uh sharing his little workaround because
I think it's brilliant and I'm shocked
it took me
I mean, I didn't even think of it
myself. He had to say it for me to think
of it. So,
I've been using this for what? The
better part of a week now, and uh it
still didn't kind of like no lightbulb
hit to try that, and uh I think it's
brilliant. So, I hope you found some
value in today's video. Now, I'm not an
AI expert. I'm building in public and
sharing what actually works. If you'd
like to see me make a particular video
or on a specific topic, drop a comment
below. Let me know who you are, what you
do, who your target audience is, and
what your question is, and I will add a
video to my queue custom tailored just
for you. Thank you so much for for in to
video. My name is Marcelo. This is Clear
Mud and Clarity Matters.

This video explains how to integrate Claude and Codex into Grokbot using the CLI by setting up routing instructions. The presenter demonstrates how to use these models as executive assistants for specific tasks like coding and front-end development, and provides a method for viewers to replicate this setup by using a master prompt.
