Cast a spell and change your life
182 segments
If you knew that on a daily basis you
were literally casting a spell for your
desired life, would you pay more
attention? I have the extraordinary
opportunity to be coming to you from our
sailboat in the middle of the
Mediterranean. This didn't just happen
by accident. This happened by me being
very conscious about creating my world
one word at a time. What if the most
powerful shift in your life begins with
the way you respond to these three tiny
words? It sounds so simple, but the way
you respond to this question is the
foundation of the world you're creating.
You are literally casting a spell every
day. And I'm about to share with you a
potent micro shift that will literally
set the stage for your desired life. Are
you ready? At the end of this video, I'm
going to also share with you a very
simple exercise to incorporate this in
your life immediately. So, I want you to
really lean in. I want you to really
hear this. I want you to really respond
and listen inside. Because if you knew
that on a daily basis you were literally
casting a spell for your desired life,
would you pay more attention? Would you
walk through the world differently? You
ready for the three words that are going
to set the stage for the desired life
you've been wanting? How are you? How
are you? This is a question that we all
hear every single day. How are you?
Right now, immediately without me even
going any further, how are you typically
responding to this question on a daily
basis? Most people answer from habit
instead of intention. For example, I'm
fine. I'm busy. I'm so busy. Have you
heard yourself saying that? I'm so busy.
I'm tired. I'm
exhausted. These words, this spoken word
literally becomes a spell. So, right
now, how are you typically responding to
this? I'm okay. Are you responding from
a courtesy like, "Oh, I'm like numb. I'm
good. I'm good." Without being
intentional about your response. How
many times throughout the day are you
saying to yourself or someone else, "I'm
exhausted. I'm so
tired." This is literally shaping your
life. Every time you answer this
question, you are creating your reality.
You are giving your
subconscious a literal blueprint to
follow. Is this the blueprint you want
the universe to respond to? I'm tired.
I'm busy. I'm
okay. Really? Is that what you're
desiring? What if you answered this
question from desire instead of default?
Here are a few things for you to
consider in response to this. And again,
I'm going to share with you a powerful
exercise at the end of this video to
support you in living into those. What
if you tried, I'm feeling
spacious. I am good, but like really
good. I'm good. I'm so good. I'm
happy. I'm peaceful.
What if we stretched it and you were
really feeling into your desire and you
responded with, "I am rich. I am so
rich. I am wealthy." How would that
feel? Your truth doesn't have to be loud
to be powerful. It just has to be yours.
So instead of responding to this
question from a state of numb, from a
state of checking out, from a state of
default, what if you responded from the
truth you're desiring to create? And
this isn't about performance. You don't
have to be good all the time, right?
This isn't about faking it. This isn't
about going into a numb state or a
spiritual bypass of just saying you're
good. You can answer in alignment. So
say for example there is something
coming up inside of you. Instead of
tired maybe you say I'm learning to
honor rest. I'm desiring rest. I'm
restful. Instead of busy maybe you say
I'm choosing
simplicity. Now again if you're thinking
like okay someone asks me Tara I'm going
throughout my day and someone asks me
how are you? I'm not necessarily going
to respond with I'm choosing simplicity.
But you can respond that way inside.
Yeah, because have you gone throughout
your day and just said without anybody
asking you how you are, "Oh my god, I'm
exhausted. I'm so tired. I'm I'm bored."
This is setting the stage for your
desired life. So, we're going to slow it
down and be intentional. We're going to
be co-creators in our life. We are
co-creators in our life. What are you
desiring to co-create? Your words
literally build your world. I want you
to feel that for a minute. Your words
literally build your world. You don't
owe anyone the right
answer. You just owe yourself the true
one. What are you truly desiring? If you
knew that your response to this
question, which how many times
throughout the day are you asked how are
you? If you knew that your word was
literally building your world, how would
you respond? Honoring the truth that our
word literally creates our
world. I have the extraordinary
opportunity to be coming to you from our
sailboat in the middle of the
Mediterranean. This didn't just happen
by accident. This happened by me being
very conscious about creating my world
one word at a time. So I want to invite
you into an exercise so that you can
actually live this way because this is
something we talk about a lot inside of
elegant them. We have a lot of
information. All of us have a lot of
information. We have access to a lot of
information. We have a lot of knowledge.
This isn't about knowledge. This isn't
about information. This is about
trusting yourself to actually live this
way. So I want to share with you an
embodiment exercise to support you in
actually living this way in your life.
So before you rush into the next thing,
I'm going to invite you to take five
minutes right now, not to fix anything,
not to improve your mindset, but to tell
the truth about what it is you are
desiring in your life. So I'm going to
invite you to sit quietly for five
minutes and write the responses to this
question. Write five responses to the
question, how are you? So, this is a
journaling practice for you to do on
your own. How are you? Invoking the
energy of desire, invoking the energy of
power. How are you? Write five
responses. But this time, don't answer
from habit. Answer from your future
self. The one who already lives in
alignment. The one who doesn't perform.
The one who cocreates her world on
purpose. Here are a couple of examples.
You might write things like, "I am
numinous. I am allowing. I am rich. I am
wealthy. I am soft. I am strong. I am
deep. I'm resting into what's already
mine. I'm allowing beauty to lead me.
I'm allowing my soul to lead me. Let it
be poetic. Let it be messy. Let it be
yours. Then choose one of the responses
this week to whisper to yourself when
someone asks, "How are you?" Share with
me in the comments below what it is you
are choosing to whisper to yourself this
week. When someone asks you, "How are
you?" The next time someone asks you how
are you, pause and answer like a woman
who knows she is creating her world one
word at a time.
Ask follow-up questions or revisit key timestamps.
The speaker emphasizes the profound impact of our words, especially when responding to the common question "How are you?", suggesting that our daily responses literally cast a "spell" that creates our desired reality. Instead of answering from habit (e.g., "I'm busy," "I'm tired"), she encourages intentional responses rooted in desire and a vision for one's future self. She shares an exercise involving a 5-minute journaling practice to formulate desired responses, and then to consciously whisper one of these responses throughout the week when asked "How are you?".
