Today, I'm going to show you how easy it

is to create a Grockbot and give him its

own email and credit card. For those of

you who don't know, Grockbot is the

fastest growing general agent platform

in the world, created by Cursor, now

owned by SpaceX. And today, we're going

to create an email for our Grockbot and

set up a web hook. So, every email my

bot receives triggers him to take

action. Then we're going to give him the

ability to make purchases with a virtual

card using the new Stripe link

integration. So my agent can

autonomously buy things. Let's go. So

here we are in the fastest growing agent

platform in the world right now, which

is Grockbot by SpaceX. And here's my

team of Grockbots over here on the left.

And what we're going to be doing today

is we're going to be creating a new

Grockbot. And we're going to be giving

it an email and a credit card. And what

does this mean? Just one of these bots

right here will be able to send emails

on its own address. So it'll have its

own email address. And then also this

agent will be able to buy things

autonomously, right? You can just tell

it to go buy whatever it is that you

want. And this Grockbot will be able to

do that. And you'll be able to set this

up in like 5 to 10 minutes. Okay. So

let's move into part one, which is

giving our agent an email. And so you

might be wondering what are the benefits

of giving Grockbot an email. Well, the

first one that I've noticed by doing

this is I can just forward things

directly to my Grockbot. If I'm using my

email and I get an email that I don't

really want to think about or I want my

Grockbot to do research, I'll just

forward Grockbot the email and it can

respond to it, which is really

interesting. And the next cool thing

about this, and this is what makes

Grockbot unique compared to say Claude

Co-work or GBT Work or any of the other

agent platforms, is bots can be

triggered by the emails that we're about

to set up. And this is due to a very

specific feature that they have, which

are routine web hooks. Let me explain.

You see, most of the agent platforms

have these things called automations or

routines. And normally they look

something like this, like weekdays at 10

am do this thing. However, with

Grockbot, you can actually create a

routine that runs on a trigger. And this

trigger can be any of these predefined

ones like a Slack message. But they also

have this thing called web hook. It's a

little bit advanced, but you'll be able

to set this up in like two or three

minutes. And what this will allow your

agent to do is be triggered by emails

immediately. When your Grockbot receives

an email, it will be triggered to work

immediately, which is very cool. Um, and

the third reason is bots can reach out

to people and receive email in their own

isolated inbox. You could give an email

to all of your Grock bots if you wanted

to. Okay, so let's get started here,

shall we? What we're going to do first

is we are actually going to create a new

agent. And this is also known as a new

bot or a new Grockbot. So, we're just

going to create a new bot. And we're

gonna this bot we're going to be giving

an email and a credit card. And what

we're going to be doing here is you are

named Jimmy and you buy um you are an

executive assistant for [snorts] our

company agent native. You will have an

email and you will buy things for the

office when people ask you. people at

the company can message you to buy

things and that is your main

functionality and you are going to be a

useful agent.

So creating an agent is as easy as just

telling the name and what it's going to

do. And as you can see here right now

it's named new bot, but the bot will

actually update this automatically. And

there you go. Got it. I'm Jimmy agent

natives EA. I'll buy office stuff when

people ask. you approve every purchase

and chase contractor payments. And you

can see here it updated um the

description. And I can add a little um

coh thing here which says um I'll just

put EA. And so right now this is an

unassigned bot. I'm actually going to

pin this bot to the top. And Jimmy is

now part of the team. Okay. So I need to

give you an email. And so in order to

give it an email, we're going to be

using a plugin. And so the plugins that

I have, I have 14 plugins installed

right now. These are the plugins. It

fully controls Slack, notion. It has

Gmail, has access to my ClickUp X, and a

bunch of other things. The plugin that

we're going to be using is called agent

mail. It's literally called agent mail.

And so I want to use agent mail. Let's

set that up. That's what I'm going to

say. Let's do the plugin. Set it up. And

it says that we will be getting a

connect card, which just means it's

going to give me a little UI component

that I can set up this thing called

agent mail. Okay. So, it just gave me

this little card here. We can authorize

agent mail. And here we're just going to

click allow. So, all you have to do is

create an account. And then it says

authorization complete. Now, I can just

say complete. Let's do this.

What can we make his email address and

then give me link to the dashboard?

Okay, here. I like it. That's fine. I

like that email. So, Jimmy's email is

jimmy-bot

at agentmail.to.

And I'm just going to say put this in

your description. Never forget this that

this is your email. Now what we can do

here is we can go to our agent mail

console which is just where agent mail

is and we can see our inboxes and we can

see that it configured this email called

jimmy-bot

at agentmail.to

and just to test that this email

actually works I can copy this link

right here. What we can do is we can

paste in this email right here and we

can just say test testing Jimmy inbox

and we can send off that email. And

there you go. So this email address

works. So from Riley agentnative.inc, we

send an email to jimmy-bot

agentmail.to.

And so now I can go to my bot and say,

"Uh, please tell me if there's any

emails on this address." And now Jimmy

will respond.

And he said, "Ceing

Jimmy-bot@agentmail.to

now." Yep. And here it goes. One unread

from you, Riley.

And subject is test body testing Jimmy

inbox. Very good. So, our agent has an

email address and it can view it. And

so, what we want is we want Jimmy to be

able to watch the email address so that

if anybody sends Jimmy an email, Jimmy

will immediately be aware of this email.

And in order to do this, we need to use

something called web hooks. And so, what

I'm going to do is I'm going to go to

Jimmy and I'm going to use this prompt

right here. I want to configure a

routine where you can watch this email

address, use web hooks. Please set it up

and then give me full instructions on

how to set up this automation fully on

agent mail. So, I'm going to run this

prompt and it's going to create the

routine. Found how other bots wire agent

mail web hooks matching that? Then I'll

save yours. Okay, here we go. As you can

see here, it created a routine. And so

when we click on this, when a web hook

fires, it will do these instructions. So

read the web hook, fetch the full thread

from agent mail, do not rely on the web

hook preview alone, tell Riley in the

chat in a short message who sent it,

subject, etc., etc. So it'll basically

give me an update right here. What we

need to do is make this actually work.

And so here it gave us some

instructions. And what we're going to do

is we are going to navigate to agent

mail. Now over here we're going to see

this thing called web hooks. We're going

to click on web hooks and we are going

to add an endpoint. So we're going to

add an endpoint right here. And then

what we're going to do is we're going to

navigate to Grockbot. And what we need

to do is we need to go over to this web

hook and we're going to click on this.

And here it has this post to. So I'm

going to select this and I'm going to

copy it. And what I'm going to do is I'm

going to go back to Google Chrome and

agent mail. I'm going to paste this in

right here. And I'm just going to give

this a description. Jimmy's uh inbox web

hook. Now, what we're going to be doing

is subscribing to events. And so,

basically, it'll turn these events into

a web hook or or it'll trigger the

automation. And so, I'm just going to

click message here and scroll down and

hit done. So, now it is Jimmy's inbox

web hook. So after we've created this

endpoint, we need to do one more thing.

We need to go to this advanced tab and

you're going to come down to this custom

headers part right here. This is the

final step in setting this up. You need

to go back to Jimmy and what you need to

do is you are need to type just follow

my lead here. You're going to copy this

key right here, this sender key. You're

going to go back and all you're going to

type in is authorization.

and you're going to type it exactly as

it appears right here. Then you're going

to type this right here which is bearer.

You're going to type bearer and then

you're going to paste this after

pressing space.

So just like that bearer space then this

key right here. That's it. Now you're

going to press this button. Now we've

added it. And now we've added this key

right here. Okay. So, now it should be

connected. Now, let's give it a try. I'm

going to send a message to

jimmy.bot@agentmail.to.

Hey, uh, please update me on my August

YouTube metrics. How many views did I

get in August? And what were my best

videos? So, I'm going to send it. Now,

what we want to see immediately is this

firing.

We'll see.

Oh, there we go. Jimmy's inbox. Watch.

It's spinning. And you can see that it's

working. And if you click on this right

here, you can see the run history. And

you can see that it's running just now.

And so, you can see that this automation

works. It should have seen my message.

And we'll see what it says here. You can

tell that it's working. Okay, here it

is. New mail on jimmy.-bot

at agentmail.to from Riley Brown. And

here it shows what I said. Now I can

say, okay, um, research it and uh, send

an email back. And now, Gro, now

Grockbot or Jimmy should be able to do

the research because it has contacts and

it will be able to send an email back in

the future. I or I could have easily set

that up so the routine would

automatically respond. Actually, I can

say that and in the future when it's me

emailing you, respond here and via email

and then it should update this routine

so that it does that. And here it said

it locked that in. You email Jimmy, I

answer here and on the thread. Anyone

else just gets a ping here. That's

probably ideal. All right. Right. So

there you go. It did the task that was

in the email and we now have it set up.

So our Grockbot now has email. Now time

for step two and we need to give

Grockbot, more specifically, we need to

give Jimmy a credit card. And so here's

why I'm really excited about Jimmy

getting a credit card. The first thing

is that this means the agent can

research for hours and then make a

purchasing decision and then it can just

check out. Then you can also set up

routines to buy things. So every day on

Friday I need you to order this thing or

that thing. We can set that up on a

routine. And then the final benefit that

I think is really important for right

now in the state of AI agents is I will

get approval. So, I will get a

notification on my phone that says, um,

do you want to approve this transaction?

And then all I have to do is press one

button and the agent will complete the

transaction, which is really cool. And

so, for this, I'm going to set up link.

So, I'm going to tell Jimmy, yo, I want

you to be able to buy things using link.

Set that up.

That's all you have to type in. And we

could say like, let's configure plugin

link. And it says installing link now.

All right. And so here it sent me this

little card here. So I can go ahead and

authorize this

link. So I'm going to hit allow.

Authorization complete. You can close

this tab. And now it said connects card

is in the chat. Hit it when you're

ready. So

tell me, are you ready to make payments?

Is that possible now? And it says yes.

Link is connected as Riley Brown with a

visa at 5160. I can buy. You still

approve every charge first. That is

amazing.

So now what I want you

uh to do is change your automation like

our routine that we set up. If you get

an email from me telling you to buy

something, I want you to go through with

it. Um, if it's from that email above,

right? I want the ultimate end goal is I

want to be able to email my bot and then

it will go off and buy something for me,

right? Because that we're using both use

cases, the email and the credit card.

So, I'm going to go ahead and try it

like that. Okay, so it's done. And so

now what we can do is we can let's go

ahead and go to email. And so I can

email my bot. So, let's go ahead and

email Jimmy. So, we're going to email

Jimmy and say, "Hey, I need you to buy

something. I need you to buy a nice

notebook from Amazon so it gets here

ASAP. I want a red one. Make it a nice

one, please." So, now I can fire this

off.

There you go. The web hook fired. And so

Jimmy just received an email to his own

email address. And now he's going to go

buy with a credit card the item that we

asked him to buy in the email, which was

the notebook. And look at this, Jimmy.

He's using his computer. You can

literally watch him use his computer.

He's doing research. He found this uh

lecture notebook hard cover.

Very cool. I'm just going to keep

letting him cook. Okay, he's got he's on

the uh delivery address page. Okay, so I

have my phone out right here and I

should get a notification and then all I

have to do is approve it and we'll be

good.

Okay, so it is asking for approval. I

just hit allow. And after you hit allow,

it shows the breakdown. You can see the

total cost with tax. And now what I want

to show you is if I wasn't on uh my

computer or anything, I would have

gotten a notification. And I want to

show you what this notification would

look like. And look at this. Grockbot is

requesting to spend 2776

on Amazon. I'm just going to click

approve. And then I'm going to do my

Face ID. So anytime your agent will try

and purchase anything, you'll get one of

these notifications on this link app.

And there you go. We just approved it.

And there you go. It just said link

approved. And this would all be

happening in the background if I wasn't

watching. I'm on Amazon Checkout. I'll

ping you when it confirms. So, let me

explain what's happening here. The AI

went on its virtual computer because um

Grockbot has access to a computer. In

fact, it's still using it right now. And

what it did is it determined the exact

cost for the purchase and then it used a

link to spin up a new virtual card for

the exact price of the item. It then

pinged me and I approved the creation of

this card. And now it's automatically

going to use this card to make the

purchase in just a few seconds. And

there you go. Ordered. It ordered this

notebook for 2776. It arrives Wednesday,

September 2nd, Amazon order. And then it

gave me this order uh number. And there

you go. I sent an email to Jimmy. And

then Jimmy, my Grockbot, who has a

credit card, went on Amazon and made the

purchase. So we gave our Grockbot an

email and a credit card. For email, we

used agent mail. And for the credit

card, we used link, which is by Stripe,

by the way. It's really easy to set up.

It's super trustworthy because it's

Stripe. And when your agent goes to make

a payment, it will determine the price

and then it will spin up a new card. So,

it'll spin up a new card and let's say

the price is like it was I think it was

like 2736.

Once it determined that, it then asked

me for approval. So then it got approval

to create a card that was also for 2726.

Then it automatically used the card to

make purchase. And I'm assuming pretty

soon we're going to get rid of this

approval step. I just think right now

since this is such a new thing, you do

kind of need this approval step. And I

do think it's pretty important right now

and it's pretty fun. Anyway, we gave

Grockbot an email and a credit card.
