So then guys, when is the next

0:02

generation of the MacBook Air on its

0:05

way? When are we going to get our hands

0:07

on it? Well, today I want to go over all

0:09

the details for it. And also, I want to

0:12

tell you even more details of any

0:14

upgrades or changes we are most likely

0:16

going to see with it, too. But just

0:19

quickly, let's talk about where we are

0:21

currently with the current MacBook Air.

0:23

Well, it was back in March time when we

0:25

got an update to it. This is when we got

0:27

the M5 introduced to both the 13 and the

0:31

15in MacBook Air. Nothing else really

0:34

changed in its actual designwise, but

0:36

under the hood, what we did see is we

0:39

did actually get an increase in storage

0:42

to 512 GB of storage. And this puts up

0:46

the price by about $100

0:49

or so for either configuration if you

0:51

pick the 13 or 15 in. Most people were

0:53

okay with this to swallow this cuz

0:55

obviously it's an upgrade from 256 GB.

0:58

But what I will say is quite recently in

1:00

the last sort of months that Apple have

1:02

just had to do a blanket upgrade of

1:04

prices across most of their products.

1:06

And unfortunately the MacBook was also

1:09

affected. The MacBook Air 13 and 15in

1:12

models, they have both gone up by around

1:14

about $200 $300 now. And yeah, it's a

1:18

bit more expensive than it really was

1:19

before. But the annoying thing is it's

1:21

all down to these AI data centers that

1:24

are constantly taking all the you know

1:26

RAM and also the nan storage for

1:28

themselves. Obviously there's only

1:29

certain amount of manufacturers in the

1:31

world that actually make these kind of

1:33

chips and obviously that's shared out

1:35

across the whole IT industry not just

1:37

Apple not just AI you know data centers.

1:40

It's for everyone. So no matter if you

1:42

go well that's it Apple are costing so

1:44

much now I'm going off to Samsung. Well

1:47

unfortunately Samsung are more expensive

1:49

too. I'm going off to HP. HP are more

1:51

expensive. Same with Dell, same with

1:53

Lenovo, same with everybody. They have

1:55

all gone up in price unfortunately

1:57

across the board. So, there's nothing

1:59

unfortunately we can do about this. But

2:02

towards the next generation of the

2:04

MacBook Air, what kind of upgrades are

2:07

we most likely going to see? Well, I'm

2:10

going to say at this stage, if you're

2:11

looking forward to say having an OLED

2:14

MacBook Air coming out next year,

2:16

unfortunately, it will not be that time.

2:18

ES. Also, if you're looking forward to

2:20

say a mini LED version of the MacBook

2:23

Air with maybe 120 hertz, well, that's

2:26

also still not on the card to come out

2:28

with the M6 version. Most likely, the

2:32

new OLED version probably will not come

2:34

out till about 2030. And at the time of

2:36

making this video, we do not even have

2:38

an OLED MacBook Pro yet. And then also

2:40

saying a prootion, you know, version of

2:43

this with just a mini LED display. We're

2:46

on target for 2028.

2:48

So yeah, it's going to be at least

2:49

another generation or two before we

2:51

actually get to that stage when we're

2:54

going to have an updated screen at least

2:56

on that. But overall for the actual

2:58

whole design of the MacBook Air, it

3:01

doesn't look like anything else is going

3:02

to change. So it's just going to be

3:04

literally a swap out of the chip. And

3:07

we've been told that the next generation

3:08

chip obviously is going to be the M6

3:11

going inside the Air. Now, what I'm

3:13

going to say with the M6 is that more

3:15

than likely, we've been told that the

3:17

configuration is going to be very

3:18

similar to what we have right now with

3:20

possibly one exception. What we're

3:23

probably going to get again is probably

3:24

going to get the likes of say about um

3:26

six efficiency cores and we're going to

3:28

get four super cores again. And then

3:31

obviously if there is the baseline

3:32

version, you might lose one of those

3:34

super cores potentially there obviously

3:37

on the 512 GB version of the 13 in. But

3:41

really, it's going to be a very similar

3:42

configuration on the CPU kind of way of

3:45

thinking. But obviously, the efficiency

3:46

and the speed will be better than what

3:49

we have right now with M5, just like it

3:52

was on M4. Probably overall in

3:54

performance for CPU, we're probably

3:55

going to be looking anywhere between

3:57

[music] 15 to 20% in single core and

3:59

multi-core performance increase for both

4:02

there. But the other difference we're

4:04

going to potentially see is all to do

4:05

with the GPU. Now, the GPU, what we've

4:08

been told is potentially this could be

4:10

the first time the actual cores could be

4:12

upped for the first time ever since the

4:14

likes of the M2. Don't forget when we

4:17

actually had the M1, we actually had an

4:19

8 core GPU, but when we got to M2,

4:22

that's when we got to a 10 core GPU and

4:25

it's been the same ever since. We've

4:26

never actually had an increase

4:28

whatsoever. So, there is the potential

4:30

this could go up to 12 cores with the

4:33

GPU on the next generation. But at the

4:36

same time as well, Apple could just

4:38

release a new kind of AI ability to go

4:41

along with those GPU cores like they did

4:43

with M5 and this could be like the

4:45

second generation. So those cores might

4:47

not need to have the increase there to

4:49

actually get that better performance.

4:51

But that is something that is possibly

4:52

that is on its way. But first guys, I

4:55

just want to tell you about the two

4:56

giveaways we're doing on this channel.

4:59

The first giveaway is for the new

5:01

members section and that is if you are a

5:03

member right now, you are automatically

5:06

entered into the giveaway for this

5:08

iPhone 17 Pro Max. What I'm going to be

5:11

giving away when we get to now 1,000

5:16

members. I've actually reduced the

5:17

number now. It's going to be 1,000

5:19

members. You're automatically entered

5:22

into that. So, that's really, really

5:23

cool. We're going to be giving that

5:25

away. But the other giveaway we have is

5:27

for this right here. It is for a MacBook

5:31

Air M4 here. It's the 15inch version.

5:35

And what we have inside of this is 512

5:37

GB of storage. And we've also got 24 GB

5:41

of RAM. And I'm giving this away to one

5:42

lucky person on this channel. And all

5:46

you have to do to enter into this,

5:48

anyone can enter in, is to make sure

5:51

that what you do is to put down in the

5:53

comments below of what technology gear

5:55

you're hoping to still get in 2026. It

5:57

could be an iPhone, could be a MacBook,

5:59

it could be nothing to do with Apple

6:00

whatsoever. It could be a Nintendo

6:02

Switch 2, it could be a PS5, whatever it

6:05

is, put it down into the comments below.

6:07

But the other thing I'd make sure you do

6:09

right now is also become a subscriber

6:12

and also get your friends and family to

6:14

be a subscriber too because we're giving

6:16

this away when we get to 850,000

6:19

subscribers. 850,000. So the quicker we

6:22

get there, the quicker I can give this

6:25

away. So make sure you share this video

6:27

with your friends, family, and [music]

6:28

friends to do that and also become a

6:30

subscriber because the sooner we get

6:32

there, the better. The other reason why

6:34

you want to be a subscriber, too, is

6:36

because I'll be making a video on this

6:37

channel when we get to that marker,

6:39

giving you more details about the

6:40

giveaway, including details of a form to

6:43

fill into. So, make sure that you

6:46

definitely have done that because you

6:47

don't want to miss out on that video

6:49

whatsoever. And hit that notification

6:50

bell because obviously, yeah, you really

6:52

don't want to miss out on that. But the

6:54

last thing I just want to quickly say to

6:55

you guys that sadly there are still lots

6:56

of scammers and spammers out there.

6:58

People still impersonating me, telling

6:59

you to WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram

7:01

direct message. Please do ignore these

7:03

people better right here. Please do

7:05

report them. So moving on from miss,

7:08

what about the release date and price

7:10

for the MacBook Air? Well, let's start

7:12

out with the price first of all. And

7:14

then the way how things are standing

7:15

right now, it's not looking good in that

7:17

AI kind of well with the prices being

7:19

increasing. So I don't think the next

7:20

generation of the MacBook Air is going

7:22

to be any cheaper. I think in fact it'll

7:25

probably stay exactly the same price. It

7:26

could potentially even go up more if

7:28

things don't get any better anytime

7:30

soon. Let's just take the scenario in

7:32

right now. And if it is that, it's

7:34

probably going to start at $1,299

7:38

for the 13in model. And sadly, that does

7:41

also mean that the 15-in would also

7:43

still start at $1,499.

7:47

So again, that would still be a 16 GB

7:49

version. That would would be 512 GB of

7:52

storage. But yeah, that's just the way

7:55

it is at the moment, unfortunately. But

7:57

then the next question is going to be

7:58

release time. Well, we've been hearing

8:00

that the release date is probably still

8:02

going to be on course for the same time

8:03

it has been for the last couple of

8:05

years. So, we're talking sort of

8:06

springtime. So, this is probably going

8:08

to be the most likely situation. So,

8:10

we're probably going to see the next

8:11

generation M6 MacBook Air coming out in

8:15

spring. So, this is probably going to be

8:17

around kind of early March time or to

8:20

sort of end of March time we could

8:22

actually get the update. This has

8:23

happened with the last two generations.

8:25

So more than likely this is probably

8:27

going to happen exactly the same

8:28

especially if Apple are going to use the

8:30

same kind of RAM and the same kind of

8:32

storage and it's just the actual main M6

8:34

chip being updated. There's no big

8:36

changes what other things being sorted

8:38

here. So yeah, it makes sense to Apple

8:40

to release it around that time. But

8:43

really guys, that is the latest and

8:45

greatest we have on the MacBook Air M6.

8:47

Are you excited for it? Are you going to

8:49

get one when it does come out? Well, if

8:51

you are, let me know in the comments

8:52

below. And if you're not, well, also let

8:54

me know in the comments below. But on

8:56

that note, as well guys, it's time to

8:57

wrap up the video, too. So, if you have

8:59

enjoyed watching it, please do press the

9:01

like button. As always, if you want to

9:02

hear the latest news on Apple things,

9:04

well, make sure you subscribe to this

9:06

channel and also hit that notification

9:08

bell. Until next time, guys. I will see

9:10

you really soon. Take care. Bye-bye.
