You now have this tool that basically

makes it feel less like AI for coding

and more like an operating layer for

modern engineering work.

I am Ryan Fitzgerald. I'm an engineer at

Zapier, and this is what Codex unlocks.

At Zapier, we're a remote-first company,

[music] so we're working a lot of

different tools like Slack, Google Docs,

Coda, and Codex is the one piece that

pulls all that together for us. So, one

of the big use cases for us is

generating full-scope tickets in Jira

through Codex, and that involves a

couple different tools. So, we're using,

for example, Zapier MCP and SDK to pull

out of context into Codex for us. We're

[music] across the board much faster at

producing tickets. Before, it could take

maybe weeks of research to kind of pull

together everything you need. Now, with

Codex, we're able to go through all of

those different knowledge sources, pull

together an entire epic with detailed

instructions of what we might need to do

in hours instead of [music] weeks in the

past, unblocking the customer faster

than we're previously.
