The First Fully AI OS Just Dropped And It's Seriously Powerful

Warm wind just released an AI operating
system and the easiest way to explain it
is this. You give it a job and it
figures out how to do it across your
actual apps. You basically give an AI
its own computer in the cloud, show it
how to do a job once, and from that
point it can keep doing that job for you
every day, even when your own computer
is completely turned off. It can open
Gmail, read customer emails, jump into
SAP, find an order, answer the customer,
process documents, monitor websites,
qualify leads, move between completely
different pieces of software and keep
doing all of it in the background. And
the really interesting part is that the
software doesn't even necessarily need
an API. Warm wind wants the AI to use
applications the same way a human
employee would, by actually looking at
the interface, clicking, typing, and
navigating through it. Now, I already
know the question a lot of you are going
to have here. How is this different from
something like Open Claw? Because Open
Claw can already give an autonomous
agent access to browsers, tools,
software, and persistent workflows. The
difference is really in how the whole
thing is designed and who it's designed
for. Open Claw gives technical users an
extremely configurable autonomous agent
that you can build around models, tools,
skills, APIs, MCP, and your own
infrastructure. Warm wind is trying to
turn that broader capability into
something much closer to manage digital
[music] labor for companies, where
instead of building the agent, you can
literally show it how the job is done.
And that distinction becomes much
clearer once you actually see how Warm
Wind works. The product is called Warm
Wind OS. It launches worldwide today,
August 26th, and we've been working
directly with the Warm Wind team around
the release and getting an early look at
what they've built. They describe Warm
Wind as an AI operating system, although
it's important to understand that it
isn't replacing Windows or macOS. The
better way to think about it is that
every
with its own applications, its own
environment, and its own job. You can
open Warm Wind in the browser, and they
also [music] have a desktop version and
a mobile app for monitoring,
controlling, and managing workers. Their
workers are designed to operate across
Windows,

>> Linux, Android, and web applications.
The worker itself is cloud-based, so it
doesn't depend on your laptop staying
online. If you give it a task at the
office and then close your [music]
computer, the worker keeps going. And
that matters because Warm Wind isn't
really designed around one-off
questions. The whole product is built
around repetitive digital labor. The
best demo they showed me is customer
support because it makes the idea
obvious almost immediately. You open
teaching mode, and instead of writing a
giant prompt explaining every possible
step, Warm Wind watches what you're
doing while you explain it. In their
demo, the user tells the worker to open
Gmail, go through incoming customer
emails one by one, understand the
question,

>> then use SAP to find the information
needed for the reply.
So, the user opens an email from a
customer, points out the company name
and order number, switches over to SAP,
goes into the relevant customer field,
enters the information, runs the search,
finds the order data, and explains
[music] that this is the information the
worker should use to answer the email.
That's basically it. You don't need to
manually define every click. You don't
need to write a script for every screen.
The worker is watching the interface,
listening to the explanation, and
building a work plan from the
demonstration. After teaching is
finished, Warm Wind compiles what it saw
into a recurring workflow. It shows you
the worklist it plans to follow, and
then you tell it when to run. In their
demo, they schedule it for 9:00 in in
morning every day. The cursor starts
moving on its own. It opens the first
email, jumps into SAP, searches the
account, gets the information, and
continues through the task. And this is
where the product starts feeling less
like a chatbot and more like giving
somebody a desk job. Warm Wind says the
worker can also ask for missing
information when it gets stuck. You can
interrupt it, add instructions while
it's working, and watch a progress
indicator that reflects how well it has
learned that workflow. Their idea is
that you supervise it more closely at
the beginning, and as it sees more
examples and handles more cases, it gets
better and faster at the job. Now,
obviously, this is also the part that
needs to prove itself in the real world.
Because teaching an AI one clean
workflow is one thing. Giving it 200
messy customer emails where half of them
contain weird exceptions [music] is
another. So, I wouldn't treat this like
some magical one-click employee that
never makes a mistake. Warm Wind itself
tells users to watch the worker at first
and step in when it needs information.
But the underlying interaction model is
interesting because [music] it's
basically training by demonstration. And
there's another important piece here.
Warm Wind doesn't require every
application to expose an API. That's a
huge deal for businesses because real
companies are full of software that was
never designed for AI agents. Old
internal portals, [music] ERP systems,
supplier dashboards, accounting
software, random web tools, legacy
systems, and custom interfaces that
somebody built 12 years ago and nobody
wants to touch. Traditional automation
usually works best when every system
exposes clean, structured access. Warm
Wind is trying to get around that by
having the worker use software the way a
person does, visually, with a mouse and
keyboard. Their vision language system
looks at the interface, understands
what's on the screen, clicks, types,
navigates, and moves information between
applications. The company says that was
one of the reasons they didn't want to
build the entire system around
general-purpose language models.
According to Warm Wind, when they tested
state-of-the-art language models for
this kind of continuous computer use,
they ran into three problems. The first
was visual understanding. A language
model can analyze screenshots, but Warm
Wind argues that most of these models
still fundamentally live in a text-first
world, while normal office work is
heavily visual. The second was speed.
They claim that using general
state-of-the-art models for raw
interface interaction could take around
30 to 60 seconds for a single [music]
click because the model isn't just
clicking. It's reasoning about the
screen, describing an action, and then
another system still has to execute it.
And the third problem was cost. Warm
Wind says that if you tried to run
continuous interface automation this
way, using top general-purpose models,
the cost could reach around 1,000 euros
to 2,000 euros, or the equivalent in
dollars per hour, which obviously makes
no sense for repetitive business work.
So, they say they took more inspiration
from robotics and embodied AI. Instead
of treating every screen like another
long reasoning problem for a giant
language model, they built a more
specialized system optimized for visual
interaction and [music] repetitive
tasks. That's also why their positioning
is closer to a digital workforce than a
general AI assistant. A general
assistant waits for you to ask
something. Warm Wind wants the worker to
have a responsibility. One worker can
handle customer support. Another can
process invoices. Another can watch
competitors. Another can qualify leads.
And these aren't supposed to be 5-minute
tasks. They're recurring jobs that keep
running in the background and only pull
you in when there's an exception, a
decision, or an approval. Their document
workflows can find files, download them,
review them, organize them, and upload
them into another system. Their process
workflows can start with an incoming
[music] request and keep working until
the request is completed. Monitoring
workers can repeatedly check software,
websites, or internal [music] systems
and report only when something changes.
And lead workers can find prospects or
candidates, enrich the information,
qualify them, and send the useful ones
forward. Warm wind is basically built to
take over the repetitive office work
people waste hours on every day. One
worker might handle invoices. Another
could deal with customer requests, while
others keep an eye on things like
recruiting, social media, competitors,
or whatever else you'd normally have
someone checking manually. The point
isn't really that every company needs
every one of these. It's that the worker
is supposed to operate across the same
messy mix of software that a human
employee already uses. Warm wind also
has native apps that are designed to
make common actions faster than relying
entirely on visual control, so the
system isn't religiously committed to
clicking everything on screen when
there's a better path available. But the
visual layer is what lets it keep
working when there's no API or custom
integration. And then there's scale. The
product is designed to start with one
worker, but Warm Wind says you can scale
from one to 10 to 100 to 1,000 workers,
all managed through the cloud.

>> That's where this starts getting more
interesting from a business perspective
because the pitch isn't just automate
this one browser task.

>> The pitch is turn a repetitive
department workflow into a fleet of
cloud workers. Each worker has its own
cloud computer, which also means it
doesn't need to fight with you for
control of your machine. You aren't
trying to use your laptop while an agent
randomly steals your cursor. The AI has
its environment. [music]
You have yours. Security obviously
becomes a massive issue the second you
start talking about giving AI access to
company email, ERP [music] systems,
customer records, invoices, passwords,
and internal [music] tools. Warm Wind
says all user data is stored on isolated
servers in Germany. Each user
environment is separated from every
other environment. Only the respective
user can access their data and
environment. And data isn't shared
between users. They also include a
built-in password manager and say the
system was designed with enterprise
security in mind. Their launch material
says users can download their
information locally

>> and remove the cloud copy when they no
longer want it stored there. I would
still treat those as Warm Wind security
claims rather than some blanket
guarantee that nothing can ever go
wrong. Because if a company is going to
give any autonomous system access to
critical software, that deserves a
serious security review. There's also
the usability side, which is probably
where Warm Wind has its best shot at
separating itself from the agent
platforms people already know.
They built the whole setup around this
idea that the interface should feel more
like an appliance than a developer tool.
You create a worker, install the
applications it needs, [music] and then
either prompt it or teach it. Voice
input is supported. So, during teaching
mode, you can literally talk through the
task while performing it. If voice is
awkward, you can use [music] text. And
that sounds almost too simple, but
simplicity is actually the product bet
here. There are already plenty of
extremely powerful agent systems.
[music] The question is whether a normal
business user wants to learn how to
build one. Warm Wind

>> is betting that they don't. They want
the accountant to show the worker how
invoices are processed. [music] They
want the support manager to show it how
customer requests are handled. They want
the recruiter to show it how applicants
are screened.
The person who understands the job
teaches the AI directly instead of
explaining the job to a developer, who
then builds an automation, which then
breaks [music] 6 weeks later when
somebody changes a button. That's the
part I'm most interested in seeing
tested properly. [music] Because if the
teaching system really holds up across
messy real workflows, then this isn't
just another agent with a nice
interface. It becomes a different way of
deploying automation inside companies.
Warm Wind is launching [music] with
access starting at 24 euros per week.
The company says that includes the
ability to run multiple workers, and
they're also planning a very limited
free version. For the initial launch,
they say they have capacity for 10,000
