LIFE IS CRAZY | No Plans, Just Go 🇨🇳
136 segments
Today I had a crazy idea. Taking a train
to a completely new city just to watch a
movie.
No plans, no preparation, just a
spontaneous decision. A few hours later,
I was in a city I had never seen before.
And it reminded me that how exciting
life becomes is entirely up to us.
>> Oh, hi, I'm Zaza. The movie I've hyped
for forever, The Odyssey, is finally out
in China. And today I'm doing something
totally crazy.
Hurry up. We are running out of time.
I'm hopping on a train to a whole new
city just to see it. Why? Because the
entire South China region only has one
theater with the fullframe GT IMX. And
I'm not going missing out.
>> The Odyssey. This epic film was shot on
giant high film. Right now only four
cinemas in China can actually play it in
that format.
Today I'm going to one of them, the only
one in southern China located in Dunwan.
It's about 80 km from Shenzhen where I
leave around 40 minutes by highspeed
train.
Compared to the North American release,
China's was delayed by an entire month.
I've been looking forward to this for a
long time.

cost me 6, twice the price outside.
Heat. Heat.
Heat. Heat.
It's
a lot.
You see two stations here.
This is my first time in this city.
There are still 6 hours until the movie
starts. Let's explore first.
The driver couldn't believe it. Coming
all the way here just for a film.
This is a very representative classical
garden in China.
Here
you can discover how ancient Chinese
define beauty. A place to leave you
surrounded by mountains, water, and a
courtyard.
There we go.
It's a microcosm of the ancient Chinese
dream of a beautiful life. Spending
carefree days with family within the
walls of your own garden.
Lunch time. This place is famous
nationwide for one dish, roast goose.
Goose leg. The prime cut. They only make
a limited number each day. I got lucky.
The skin is roasted, crispy, but the
meat inside is tender and juicy.
>> Amazing.
>> Making it this way is far from easy. It
really tests your cooking skills.
I think food is a reflection of your
attitude toward life. Making it with
care shows how much you love living.
This drink is made from fermented red
days and hawthorne.
The sweet and sour balance is just
perfect.
Luck doesn't strike twice. I wanted
another goose lay, but they were already
sold out.

This is the most traditional dessert in
the region.
The light fragrance of tofu paired with
a rich sweetness of red beans. Really,
really good.
This is the slow pace that only a small
city can offer. Quiet and natural.

Whoa.
Look, this is what drove me across
cities. This giant screen for the

a once in a lifetime experience.
So lucky to be here for it.
What a wonderful day. See you the next
