runners go to second third and just like

Matt Pierce runs here in the first time

and the Pierce Raiders for five on the

top of the first and take it from there

I chose to come to Peter straight out of

high school because the coaching staff

that was here not only the coaches but

some of the faculty members here I was

pretty familiar with all for recruiting

I know the coach a little bit I was

supposed to pay for a summer ball team

and pickup but he came to our high

school state tournament and we were he

contacted me and asked me to play right

then and there for him so I took the

offer I think the coaches are very nice

they're you know very accepting

education is what you're gonna have the

rest of your life sports aren't always

gonna be there so you have to you have

to take your education first when I was

a senior in high school I was really

indecisive indecisive about what college

I wanted to go to in the first place

so I thought it starting at Community

College will just benefit me the coach

actually came to me during summer ball

probably my junior high school

and he he described Pierce in depth and

what he told me he just kind of brought

it to brought to heart and really was

welcoming RIT as I stepped on campus or

visited honestly loved the campus I you

know that's actually what part of the

reason was driving into Pierce is

because I had finalized anything with

the coach and they said well let me take

you on a tour and then so I toured the

campus and I really liked that I

definitely love the people I love the

facility I love the people that are

teachers and the different staff members

around the coaching staff for me

I think I enjoy the fact that they love

us as two people first they want to see

us get better times that I've had

success would definitely be during the

baseball season as a freshman I came in

as a walk-on so it kind of put a chip on

my shoulders so I had to pretty much

show the coaches what I was worth and

what I was capable of doing on the field

our team definitely has success my

sophomore year we made it to the NY

tournament I think my best memory would

be hitting my first college home run

last year and high school homeruns were

kind of cool but in college just a

little bit better cuz there's a lot more

people I suppose I feel good about

myself

I'd say versi last year versing South

Puget Sound

we were down 43 and our left back

Brady Thomas he scored two goals from

past the 50 yard line and just went

right over the goalie and it was just so

amazing some of the biggest memories

come from soccer we just all of our

teammates grew so strong like our

relationships were so good it all

started from our camping trip it was it

was tough to get used to doing both

school and sports piers prepared me by

making sure that the classwork was

always done they they made sure that you

were getting help when you needed the

tutoring center is really helpful school

it's definitely something I struggle in

and having the tutor Center it gives me

a lot of opportunities there's si tutors

in there who help with every subject in

school and it really helps they break it

down one-on-one they're there for you

when you need it we are the ones that

get into the general good on the soccer

field or get on any kind of field and

put in the work we know how it is to

have you know class shovels am I gonna

you know have to figure out a way to

balance the classroom and your sport and

make sure you're still performing each

of this I'm looking forward to getting

good grades and graduating next year I'm

definitely gonna move on to a four-year

after me

don't really feel like I will have any

regrets because I believe I've learned

so much alright
