219 segments
Hello and welcome back to my channel. My
name is Stacy and I'm so happy to see
you here today. If you are new to the
channel, first of all, welcome. And
second of all, if you're wondering what
we are doing in my corner of the
internet, I am on a journey of listening
to songs, bands, and artists I've never
heard before. And today, you guys, we
are diving deeper into the Frankie goes
to Hollywood rabbit hole and we're
listening to a song called Relax. Now,
I'm not going to lie. I'm pretty sure I
have heard the chorus before in passing,
but I do not know this song very well,
nor have I heard this song
intentionally, like really sat down and
listened to the music, listen to the
lyrics, or just get kind of lost in the
art of it all. So, yeah, I'm excited to
dive deeper into Frankie Goes to
Hollywood today and see what Relax is
all about. So before I begin the
reaction, you guys, if you like my
content and want to join me on my
musical journey of discovery, please be
sure to like and share the video as well
as subscribe to the channel as it really
helps growing content creators like me.
So without further ado, let's get into
the reaction. All righty, guys. This is
Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Relax. Let's
get started.
My high.
>> Okay, this beat is nice already.
Now
relax.
When you want to go to wet relax.
When you want to come relax
when you want to suck it to wet relax.
When you want to
>> come
Relax.
Relax.
Relax.
When you want to come
Oh,
but the right direction.
I love that part that goes b. That's so
cool. The instrumentation is truly
addicting and is so cool to listen to. I
just love everything going on there. The
lyrics are
I don't even know what to even think
about the lyrics. Uh my jaw dropped
immediately as I heard a bit more of the
chorus. Like that's the thing about
doing these reactions. Like you think
you know a song but you really don't.
Like I'm pretty sure I have heard this
song in passing somewhere. Movies, TV
shows, the mall, whatever. But I never
knew he said that. Uh I had no clue. So
yeah, I'm over here just Yeah. Jaws to
the floor. I'm clutching my pearls. We
are on a ride here. So yeah, it's it's
really sexual. Um but damn is it funky.
It's such a good tune. I'm loving the
vibe of it, the synth, the just the
instrumentation right now is just so
good. It's so unapologetically 80s and I
love it. All right, let's continue.
sexual innuendo.
>> It's hard to relax with this song. Don't
you
relax?
I feel like I'm interrupting something.
>> Relax.
Relax. Don't do it when you want to
come. Relax.
Don't do it.
When you want to come.
Oo, this is a great
>> That's so magical.
>> Holy crap.
Are those the laser be
Relax.
Relax.
Relax.
My sound.
Wa.
So much happening there.
Literally, this song got so intense. The
song had so many twists and turns
lyrically and instrumentally that I was
not prepared for. I wonder like I feel
like relax has many different meanings
for sure. Like relax in the context of
this song has many different meanings,
but I also feel like Frankie is telling
the listener, a listener like me to
freaking relax and just enjoy the song,
which I did. you kind of just like, you
know, kind of get over the sexual
innuendos and, you know, kind of get
over how dirty it is because it's kind
of jarring at first, at least to me, uh,
to realize like what he's saying. He's
saying a lot. And so it's like, dang.
Um, I don't know. You just kind of get
over it and you just kind of get lost in
the song and you relax and you have a
good time. So yeah, it's a bop. It's a
jam. I really like the song and um, I
also love this art right here. It's
someone like clutching the sheets or
something, which is very appropriate for
this song. Woo! Is it hot in here or is
it just me?
My cat does not care. Oh man, you guys,
this song is spicy. It is sexual as
hell, but it's so fun. Like, I could see
the song being played over and over and
over again in the clubs back in the 80s.
Um, I don't know. It's a fun song. The
beat of it all, the rhythm of it all,
like all of it is so cool. The lyrics
are beyond sexual, but hey, like I'm
here for it. It is an anthem. It's
unapologetic in its sexualness. And
yeah, it's cool, man. I enjoyed it. I
mean, I don't need to get into the
lyrics. We all know what this song is
about, but I think I just want to focus
on the just production behind this song.
There's a lot of layers to it. There's a
lot going on that makes it kind of a
musical roller coaster. Um, especially
near the end. Near the end was full of
so many twists and turns instrumentally
that I was not prepared for. Like a lot
of laser beam sounds, a lot of like
futuristic sounds, drums, just so much
happening. Um, yeah, it it was it was
crazy to listen to. The song had way
more to it than I ever thought. And like
I said before, you think you you know a
song if you hear it in passing, but you
really don't. Like actually sitting
down, taking in the lyrics and taking
in, you know, everything going on
instrumentally. It's it's a totally
different experience. Um, and even just
on my first listen through, I feel like
I didn't catch everything. I feel like
there's so many things left to discover
with this song. The song was giving very
futuristic vibes. It was giving sexual
vibes as well. Extremely sexual and is
giving nightclub also. It's such a cool
song. I I seriously feel like while I
was listening to the song, I can picture
it uh being played at a nightclub in the
80s with just laser beams going off. And
I don't know if it's because he said
laser beams in the song, uh, but I just
could picture like people just jamming
out to this song, which I would be on
the dance floor when this song comes on
for sure. It's so good. I love the
scent. I love the energy in this song. I
love the unapologetically
sexual vibes of this song. Just just
laying it all out there. And I feel like
it's a really hard song to get sick of,
at least for me. Again, I think the
instrumentation is just so addicting and
will always keep me coming back to this
song. It's so fun. It's really good. I
love the energy. I love how fiery it is,
passionate, all of it. It's a It's a
jam, man. It's a jam. So, I think that
will do for today's reaction. Thank you
