Today, I'm going to show you how easy it

0:01

is to build any app you want inside Chat

0:04

GPT. Yesterday, I built an app that

0:06

replaced three SaaS tools that I was

0:08

paying thousands of dollars for, and I

0:11

did this in just three prompts using

0:13

Chat GPT. So, the app that I created is

0:16

called Social Scrape, and we're actually

0:18

going to be building this app again

0:20

today. It analyzes all short-form

0:22

platforms. It can scrape the entire

0:25

videos from Instagram or TikTok, all of

0:27

the stats and the transcript, and it can

0:30

store all of this information in a site

0:33

that my whole team can use for creating

0:35

content and ads. And literally anyone

0:38

can build an app just like this in

0:40

minutes using Chat GPT sites. And many

0:43

of you may not know, but Chat GPT sites

0:46

has a built-in database, hosting,

0:47

authentication, storage, and custom

0:50

domain. And so, that's exactly what

0:52

we're going to do today in this video.

0:53

Even if you have zero coding experience,

0:55

by the end of this video, you'll be able

0:57

to open Chat GPT and create any app you

1:00

want, and you'll be able to use it with

1:03

your team. All right. So, this right

1:05

here is Chat GPT, and if you enable the

1:08

work tab, this right here is Chat GPT

1:11

work. One of the coolest features of

1:13

Chat GPT work is you can say something

1:15

like this, "Hey, please build a @sites

1:22

that does blank." This will

1:25

automatically build a hosted site,

1:28

meaning it's on the internet, with

1:30

database, meaning the data is stored in

1:33

the app, authentication, meaning people

1:35

can sign in, storage, meaning you can

1:38

upload images and videos just like any

1:40

normal app, and you can even share it

1:42

with other people. And today, we're

1:44

going to be talking about this sites

1:46

feature. Real quick, for those of you

1:48

who don't know what GPT work is, you can

1:50

almost think of Chat GPT work as the

1:52

midpoint between Chat GPT and Codex.

1:55

Codex is OpenAI's agent platform for

1:58

developers. So, for intense coding

2:00

tasks, you have Codex. For normal chats,

2:03

you have ChatGPT. And then in the

2:05

middle, you have GPT work. And if that

2:08

doesn't fully make sense, you can also

2:10

think of ChatGPT work as an agent in the

2:14

cloud with a computer. And whether or

2:16

not we're using ChatGPT work on the

2:18

desktop app that like it is open right

2:21

here or on our phone, which is open

2:23

right here, we can use sites by simply @

2:26

mentioning sites. So, here it is on the

2:28

desktop app. I'll do it on my phone. I

2:30

can @ mention sites. And my favorite

2:33

place to build ChatGPT sites is directly

2:36

on the ChatGPT desktop app. If you

2:39

remember, about a month ago, OpenAI

2:42

combined the ChatGPT app and the Codex

2:45

app into one platform, and you can now

2:48

access GPT work directly from the

2:51

desktop app. And so, yesterday, I

2:53

created a short-form scrape. And what

2:56

I'm able to do is I'm able to scrape any

2:59

social media platform and pull the

3:02

videos and they show up here. So, I can

3:04

scrape all of my content. I can play the

3:07

video.

3:07

>> category in

3:08

>> And as you can see here, I also scraped

3:10

Rowan Cheung's videos.

3:11

>> Japanese scientists just

3:13

>> And I can also click on transcript and I

3:15

can copy the transcript. So, I can

3:17

scrape all short-form platforms and I

3:19

can literally download this video. This

3:22

video is being hosted on this ChatGPT

3:25

sites. And so, now it's time for us to

3:28

build our own app using GPT sites on

3:31

ChatGPT work. So, this is the prompt

3:33

that we're going to be using. So, we're

3:35

going to build a GPT sites that has a

3:37

beautiful front end that is all white

3:39

and it's a phone frame big in center.

3:41

This app will be an app that I share

3:43

with my team. The site also allows

3:45

anyone from the team to sign in and

3:46

authenticate and view the presentation

3:48

that I create. I should be able to

3:50

upload short-form videos to the site

3:52

manually or copy a prompt beneath the

3:54

phone frame by pressing an icon and give

3:56

it to any agent and the agent can upload

3:59

videos to that app. So, the app should

4:02

have video storage and a database so

4:04

that all of the stats for each video are

4:06

there. And then I go along to say, "This

4:09

app will be used with a scrape creator

4:10

skill which uses the scrape creator's

4:13

API. Instead of adding it to the actual

4:16

app or site, I'll simply ask the agent

4:18

to scrape creators and it will create a

4:19

playlist with the title as the creator

4:22

and then I'll be able to play the video

4:24

you scrape in the hosted app. And I'm

4:26

also going to add, "Start with Riley

4:29

Brown's best videos from 2025

4:35

that are not sponsored. Put those in the

4:40

app and there should be a download

4:44

button so anyone can

4:48

download

4:50

the videos who is on the app." So, this

4:53

is the prompt that we're going to be

4:55

using inside Chat GPT. So, I'm going to

4:58

paste this in and we're using Chat GPT

5:01

work on the desktop app using the new

5:03

sites feature and we're going to run it.

5:05

Okay, there we go. So, it just worked

5:08

for 25 minutes and 8 seconds. And we can

5:13

just hit open in browser

5:15

and here we go. So, this is the app that

5:19

it created and notice here it's like

5:21

you're almost in this site uses Chat GPT

5:23

security to securely sign you in. And

5:26

so, we can hit continue with Chat GPT.

5:29

I'm going to sign in with my account and

5:31

now I'm going to hit continue and now it

5:33

is loading reels.

5:35

And take a look at this. So, it just

5:37

created this app right here.

5:40

It's a little bit clunky, but no

5:44

worries, we will fix it.

5:46

And what we can do here is we can see

5:49

that it scraped six of my videos. So, it

5:53

found six of my videos and it put them

5:56

right here. And it looks very similar to

5:58

the other app that I created yesterday.

6:00

And it does have a few mistakes, but

6:03

it's very easy to change that. So, what

6:06

I can do here, I can very easily come to

6:09

this browser and I'm going to just hit

6:10

this annotate button. And we're going to

6:12

come here and I'm going to click on

6:14

this. I'm going to say the video should

6:18

be full screen and the likes and

6:22

comments

6:23

should be overlay like Tik Tok / Reels.

6:29

And I added that annotation as a

6:31

comment.

6:32

What are some other things that we need

6:34

to add? Um make top bar less tall. Um

6:40

yeah, make the download

6:43

button better. It looks weird. And let's

6:47

just go ahead and send those in. So, I'm

6:49

just going to say make these changes.

6:52

And those three annotations are

6:54

basically comments are going to be

6:57

edited.

6:58

And now it is done. So, we can open this

7:01

up in the browser once again. Actually,

7:03

let's go ahead and refresh this.

7:05

There we go. Now, it is full screen. So,

7:09

we can go to the next one.

7:11

>> Is programming going to be replaced by

7:13

vibe coding?

7:14

>> There we go. This has 10K likes. I can

7:16

see all the stats. There we go. One

7:20

other thing that I'm noticing isn't

7:21

correct is the profile picture.

7:24

The profile picture of the account, it's

7:26

not correct. It just says RB for instead

7:29

of Riley Brown. I want to make sure that

7:31

the profile picture matches the one from

7:33

Instagram. And also, please look up

7:35

Callaway on Instagram and bring in 10 of

7:38

his videos as well. As you can see, any

7:41

change that you want to make, you can

7:43

just do that and it will update to your

7:45

site that is actually deployed on the

7:46

internet. This doesn't just work on the

7:50

ChatGPT app in the in-app browser. You

7:52

can also open it in Chrome. As I you can

7:55

see here, I do need to sign in once

7:57

again. I'll sign into the same account

7:59

that I signed in on ChatGPT and I will

8:01

get be able to get access to the site

8:03

that is actually on the internet right

8:06

here. Okay, so our site is looking

8:09

pretty damn good right now. So, what I

8:11

want to do is I want to first explain

8:13

how this is all working. So,

8:17

when you use CodeX or GPT Work, you can

8:20

use these things called plugins and

8:22

skills.

8:23

A skill is when I could use a skill, for

8:26

example, called scrape creators and I

8:28

used this a lot even before I found out

8:30

about GPT sites.

8:32

And what this allows me to do is exactly

8:35

what you see here, where it can scrape

8:37

data from any social media account. And

8:40

the way this works is this actually uses

8:42

an external API. If you were to go to

8:45

Google Chrome and just type in scrape

8:48

creators API, this is an external

8:52

service that if you go to scrape

8:55

creators and get an API key, you can

8:58

then go back to ChatGPT Work or CodeX

9:02

and say, "I want to create a skill that

9:06

uses scrape creators. Please create it.

9:11

Here is my API key." That's all you

9:15

would need to do and then you would

9:16

paste your key

9:18

right here. This is technically not best

9:20

practice, but this is how I create my

9:22

skills. And then you could just use the

9:24

agent to pull data from any social media

9:27

platform and this is incredibly useful.

9:30

However, presenting it was the annoying

9:32

part and that is why I put it in a site.

9:35

Now, I can simply scrape social media

9:39

platforms with this API and then have

9:41

the agent place it directly in the app.

9:44

And that's exactly what it did. It

9:45

scraped the video, it scraped the likes,

9:48

the comments. It also scraped the

9:50

transcript, and I can very easily copy

9:52

that to my clipboard, as you can see

9:54

right here. I now have a better way to

9:57

display the data that was pulled using

10:00

the scrape

10:02

creator's skill,

10:05

which uses the scrapes creator's API.

10:08

And I'll put all the information for all

10:09

the skills that I use in the description

10:12

below, but that is in essence how this

10:14

works. And this site is live, and it is

10:17

shareable with anyone. And before we go,

10:20

I do want to talk about one thing, which

10:22

is site settings. So, in order to see

10:24

all of your sites, you can go over to

10:26

the left panel right here and click

10:28

sites. And here, we can see all of the

10:31

sites that I've created. On these sites,

10:34

if you come down to our app that we've

10:36

created here, I can press these three

10:38

dots, and I can click settings.

10:40

And here, I can actually change the

10:43

domain, right? We can change the domain

10:45

right here. We can also add custom

10:48

domains. You can also change the name of

10:50

it. And so, we can call this social

10:53

scrape to change the name of this site

10:55

here.

10:56

And then also, you can add environment

11:00

variables. So, if you wanted to add one

11:02

of those API keys that I was talking

11:04

about earlier to your app, you can add

11:06

it here. You also have access to the

11:09

analytics for your app. Right now, I'm

11:11

the only one who's used my site, so

11:14

there is very little daily traffic. It's

11:17

just me. I actually haven't sent this to

11:19

anyone on my team yet, because we just

11:20

built it. Um in the database section,

11:24

we can see all of the data in our app.

11:29

The sites feature within Chat GPT has

11:31

built-in database, as you can see here,

11:33

and you can go through and see the data,

11:36

right? You can see Real Riley Brown and

11:38

Callaway verified. They have have an

11:41

avatar key, and you can see when they

11:42

were created. And here you can see the

11:44

videos as well. Here are all the videos.

11:48

Here's the caption for the video, the

11:50

file name, the content type, and that is

11:53

where all the data is stored for your

11:56

app. Anyway, guys, this is the app that

11:58

we created. It is a perfect interface

12:00

for the use case, which is scraping data

12:03

from social media, that I can send to

12:05

anyone on my team. And that's what I

12:07

encourage you to do. When you need to

12:09

send any type of information to anyone

12:11

else on your team, think, what is the

12:13

best possible interface that I could

12:15

send them? More than likely, you'll want

12:17

to fully customize that little mini app

12:19

that you send them. And I think the

12:21

easiest way to do that is with sites.

12:23

One last thing, if you want to take the

12:24

site that we just created, or any site

12:26

that you create, one step further, you

12:28

should just update to the latest chat

12:30

GPD desktop app and ask Codex to make it

12:32

web MCP enabled and deploy it to sites.

12:36

Web MCP lets your site expose tools that

12:39

chat GPD and Codex can discover and use

12:42

right on the live page while you follow

12:44

along and guide it. And the 10-day web

12:47

MCP challenge is live now with $35,000

12:51

in cash prizes. You can build something

12:53

new, or you can just add web MCP to a

12:56

site that you've already created. The

12:59

link is in the description. And again,

13:00

thank you so much to Open AI for

13:02

sponsoring this video, and I'll see you

13:04

guys here for the next one.

Interactive Summary
